Desiccated coconut is produced from matured and fresh coconuts. Currently, we manufacture the DCP using conventional technology. DCP is obtained by hot-air (75-80°C) drying the shredded coconut kernel after the removal of brown testa.
The aroma and natural flavour of the coconut remains in its flesh without the use of any preservatives / additives. Desiccated Coconut powder is packed in 1kg pouch, 25 kg and 50 kg bags as well. These items are air-tightly packed in multi-ply kraft paper bags with inner sealed polyliner or outer polywoven bags if requested by the customer. Our desiccated coconut powder is mostly used for cooking and baking purposes.
