The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam is taken to determine the eligibility of a person to get appointed as a teacher in any school in India. As per the Right to Education (RTE) Act, a candidate should pass the TET exam which is conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The TET 2023 is conducted at the central level and state levels. At the national level, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and at the state level, various states hold the TETs every year such as TS TET, UPTET, REET, TNTET, MAHA TET, OTET, HP TET, KTET, and others.
